The Role of a Supply Chain Efficiency Manager involves overseeing material handling teams, coordinating logistics, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and timely supplies to manufacturing areas. This includes process control, labor management, and collaboration between Planning, procurement, and production areas.

This professional is responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing supply of materials to production lines, ensuring availability at the right time and place to avoid stoppages or bottlenecks. Key responsibilities include :

• Supply planning to the line
• Defining necessary materials per workstation
• Calculating quantities per shift or order
• Coordinating replenishment frequencies (just-in-time, kanban, milk-run)
• Coordination with internal logistics
• Designing and maintaining supply routes within the plant
• Coordination with forklifts, logistic trains, or AGVs for transportation
• Establishing delivery points and methods
• Documentation and standardization

Supervisory responsibilities include managing an hourly workforce, communicating with teams and management, driving a culture of safety, and providing technical knowledge and leadership.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years experience, CPIM certification, organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
