Responsibilities
Database role supports our services that focus on Database technologies, including Amazon Aurora, DynamoDB, Redshift, Athena, Couchbase, Cassandra, MySQL and Oracle.Extensive experience with Database System Administration on Linux / Windows and CentOS infrastructure.Experience in involving discussion with client for DB requirements, performance, and integration issues and provide better solutions or approach along with capacity planning.Responsible for identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks in relation to CPU, I / O, Memory, and DB Architecture.Responsible for Database migration i.e., on-prem to on-prem or to cloud. Responsible for resource layout for new application from DB side.Day-to-Day Production DB support and maintenance of different versions of server database.Design and build function-centric solutions in the context of transition from traditional, legacy platforms to microservices architectures.Identifies trends and assess opportunities to improve processes and execution.Raises and tracks issues and conflicts, remove barriers, resolve issues of medium complexity involving partners and call out to appropriate level when required.Solicits and responds to feedback while gaining dedication and support.Stays up to date on industry regulations, trends, and technology.Coordinates with management to ensure all operational, administrative, and compliance functions within the team are being carried out in accordance with regulatory standard methodologies.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technology field preferredMinimum of 4 years of hands-on experience on Database Technologies.Strong working knowledge of ITIL principles and ITSMCurrent understanding of industry trends and methodologiesOutstanding verbal and written communication skillsExcellent attention to detailStrong interpersonal skills and leadership qualitiesSeniority level
