Financial Analyst

We’re hiring a Financial Analyst to take full ownership of the financial performance of our mass-market natural gas portfolio. This role is built for someone who loves digging into numbers, understands what drives margin, and can turn complex billing and settlement data into clean financial truth

You won’t just report on revenue — you’ll protect it. You’ll manage P&L drivers, ensure GL and AR accuracy in QuickBooks, validate high-volume billing in VertexOne, reconcile pipeline and LDC settlements, and deliver insights that directly impact cash flow and profitability.

You’ll work closely with Finance, Supply, and Operations to make sure every number is right, every variance is explained, and every dollar is accounted for.

What You’ll Do

P&L & Monthly Close

• Own monthly P&L for gas portfolios, including revenue, pass-throughs, margin, and bad debt.
• Prepare accruals for unbilled revenue, storage, capacity, and imbalance charges.
• Run budget vs. actual and variance analysis (weather, usage, churn, promotions).

General Ledger, AR & QuickBooks
