In this role, you will be instrumental in building secure, scalable, and client-centric fintech products that serve thousands of companies globally.

This is a hybrid position requiring three days per week at our local office to foster collaboration and innovation.As a key member of our engineering team, you will drive the development of cutting-edge, AI-supported software.

You'll focus on enhancing our international value-moving products, including our predictive pricing engine and multi-currency payment systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety, privacy, and performance.What You'll Do~Bring your experience and energy to a high-performing and fast-moving team.Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable back-end services for our AI-driven prediction and automated payment systems.Solve complex architectural challenges, ensuring our systems are compliant, secure, and highly available for a global user base.Optimize and manage MongoDB and NoSQL databases to handle high-volume, real-time financial transactions and data processing.Lead architecture and performance enhancements to ensure smooth, low-latency cross-border transactions.Integrate AI and Machine Learning (ML) insights to optimize payment routing, fraud detection, and recommend user actions.Collaborate with cross-functional product, data, and business teams to translate requirements into robust, data-driven financial solutions.Core Technical Skills~3+ years of professional experience in back-end software development.Strong experience in and JavaScript / TypeScript for building scalable back-end applications.Knowledge of MongoDB, including query optimization, data modeling, and performance tuning for large-scale, data-intensive applications.Proven experience building and maintaining high-traffic, resilient systems in a production environment.Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git.Preferred Qualifications~Experience with cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS, including services for computing, storage, and networking.Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI / CD pipelines.Knowledge of multi-currency payment systems, financial data handling, and fintech security protocols.Familiarity with Python in the context of machine learning, data engineering, or scripting.Basic understanding of front-end technologies to better collaborate on full-stack performance optimization.Experience with content delivery networks like Cloudflare for performance and security.Who You Are~High energy~ Ready to work hard and to make a difference.Future-focused~ See AI-driven development is a force multiplier, not a competitor.Proactive and Driven~ You demonstrate a sense of urgency and take initiative to solve problems and drive innovation.Customer-Focused~ You are dedicated to building solutions that create real value and improve our customers' financial experiences.A Quality Advocate~ You take immense pride in your work, striving for excellence and craftsmanship in every line of code.Collaborative Team Player~ You excel in a team environment, sharing knowledge and working together to achieve common goals.
