Senior Tax Analyst
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Tax Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing and optimizing the company’s tax reporting and compliance functions, ensuring adherence to all applicable tax regulations and supporting the organization's financial strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform calculations and timely file taxes (ISR, VAT, and withholdings).
- Ensure the monthly and annual submission of provisional payments of ISR and VAT, as well as monthly withholdings.
- Accurately record provisions for ISR, deferred ISR, PTU, and deferred PTU at month-end.
- Ensure compliance with Mexican tax laws and current corporate policies.
- Address tax requirements arising from home visits, internal-external audits, and other requests as needed. Additionally, follow up on requests that arrive through the tax mailbox.
- Maintain tax documentation in accordance with legal requirements and internal procedures.
- Review and approve the tax report and the transfer pricing study. This includes timely delivery of information and continuous communication with external advisors.
- Participate in local and global system implementation projects.
- Prepare and communicate tax reports in English to the Corporation.
- Support initiatives for optimizing the tax burden and mitigating risks.
- Review and maintain access keys to the SAT portal (E-Firma and Digital Stamp Certificate).
- Prepare and submit informational declarations (DIM) and electronic accounting.
- Responsible for working papers for Income Tax (tax accounting reconciliation), Annual PTU, Deferred Income Tax, Deferred PTU under applicable regulations.
- Recommend, review, and actively participate in any projects and / or proposals to automate and make tax determination and recognition processes more efficient. Interpret and communicate new tax provisions.
- Reconciliation of effective rates, and I will love fiscal items; and in the number.
- Active participation in fiscal consultations that take place within the organization.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; advanced degree or CPA designation preferred.Minimum of 5 years of progressive tax experience, preferably within a corporate or public accounting environment.Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws, with a proven ability to apply this knowledge practically.Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office suite, with advanced Excel skills.Ability to communicate complex tax matters clearly and professionally to stakeholders at all levels.Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentAdvanced English level is required for this position#J-18808-Ljbffr
