WorldStrides is the global leader in educational travel and experiential learning. Founded in 1967, we began with middle school travel programs to Washington, D.C. and have expanded to provide a wide range of programs for more than half a million students annually in over 100 countries worldwide. WorldStrides offers experiential learning programs in educational travel, performing arts, language immersion, career exploration, service‑learning, study abroad, and sports. Each of these experiences helps students to see beyond the classroom and to discover the world – and themselves – in new ways.

Job Description

Work in partnership with Account Managers in tour planning and maximizing registrations. This includes building relationships with Program Leaders, working with other WorldStrides departments to provide the best customer service and tour product possible, and assisting the Account Managers in aspects of account correspondence. Serve as a contributing member of the customer service team through open exchanges, assisting other team members as needed, and partnering with the Account Managers. Ultimately, function as Account Managers in their absence and provide excellent customer service exhibiting professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Remain organized and properly plan activities using an Excel Group Sheet to track timing and completion of all activities for each group.
  • Update, track and advise Account Managers of upcoming tasks using an Excel Group Sheet.
  • Provide weekly regular electronic updates for Account Managers.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date documentation.
  • Manage room list process, understand company policies and communicate them to the Program Leaders.
  • Assist customers in completing room lists.
  • Complete data entry of room lists in the system.
  • Manage pre‑tour details, educate the customer on timetable and policies.
  • Create Program Information Letter, mailing customized documents with school travel information.
  • Finalize program packet, send pre‑trip materials to schools prior to program departure.
  • Send Discovery Journals, coordinate shipping with Fulfillment Center.

Qualifications

  • 2‑3 years’ experience handling multiple tasks in an office environment.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills; strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills, with a positive, solution‑oriented attitude.
  • Good verbal skills, with a clear and professional telephone demeanor.
  • Ability to work under pressure in an office environment, with a willingness to expand time commitment when necessary.
  • Demonstrate initiative and eagerness to learn new skills to enhance job effectiveness.
  • Typing and computer experience is needed.
  • Must be able to visually proof documents and input data into a computer.
  • Excellent medical, dental, and vision coverage, life, accidental death and dismemberment, accident, critical illness, and disability insurance.
  • 10% of gross salary as food stamps.
  • 1 paid volunteer day & 25 PTO
  • days to start – accrue up to 28 over 3 years, 4 mental health days, and 5 bereavement days.
  • Statutory Holidays by Mexican Federal Labor Law.
  • Tuition reimbursement up to five thousand, two hundred fifty dollars annually or one thousand dollars toward professional certification annually.
