Position

The Product Engineer will be based in Aguascalientes Site. The role is responsible for Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) follow up in LifeStyle segment, executing proper implementation (End-to-End) and maintaining PLM / ERP / Shop floor control systems. The candidate will be part of the communication channel with internal peers and customers during sustaining stages.

Responsibilities

• Handle product transfer and new product setup.
• Direct support to CFT and Production area.
• Follow-up, execution and planning of engineering testing in terms of validation process in molding and assembly areas.
• Suggest improvements to processes to obtain improved quality and production yield.
• Solve product related problems and perform failure analysis related to product issues.
• Interact with customer and various departments on product related issues.
• Follow up company approved processes.
• Work with design team to resolve design issues.
• Apply Best Practices (SGAs, Internal Kaizen).
• Suggest modification to work instructions, material or product changes to ensure superior quality of products.
• BOM scrubbing.
• ECO implementation.
