Backend Software Engineer to lead the architecture, development, and scaling of our core platform services. This role requires a leader who is equally comfortable designing a multi-region deployment strategy on GCP as they are writing highly performant code in Ruby on Rails or Python. Requirements

Backend Software Engineer to lead the architecture, development, and scaling of our core platform services. This role requires a leader who is equally comfortable designing a multi-region deployment strategy on GCP as they are writing highly performant code in Ruby on Rails or Python. The Director will be responsible for the technical vision, operational excellence, and mentorship of a team of backend engineers across the LATAM and India regions.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of total experience in Software Engineering, with at least 2 years in a Senior or Lead role responsible for system architecture.
• Expert‑level proficiency with Ruby on Rails and Python in a high‑scale production environment.
• Deep expertise in database design, performance tuning, and scaling Postgresql.
• Extensive experience leveraging Redis for complex caching, message queues, and other performance optimizations.
• Proven hands‑on experience designing and operating infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker / Podman) and experience with modern deployment / orchestration techniques.
• Proficiency with Linux operating systems and command‑line tools.
• Demonstrated experience with Github for advanced SCM and code review workflows.
