MISSION : The Sales Order Processor manager plays a critical role in our sales operations by ensuring accurate and timely processing of customer orders. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with internal teams to facilitate the order fulfillment process.
MAIN PURPOSES OF THE JOB :
Order Processing :
Receive and review sales orders from various sources, including email, phone, and EDI platforms.
Verify order accuracy, including product codes, quantities, pricing, and shipping information.
Enter orders into the company's ERP system accurately and in a timely manner.
Coordinate with relevant departments, such as warehouse and logistics, to ensure prompt fulfillment of orders.
Customer Communication :
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding order inquiries, modifications, and updates.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and resolving issues related to order processing.
Communicate order status and tracking information to customers proactively and in a timely manner.
Inventory Management :
Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the demand planning team to ensure sufficient stock availability to fulfill orders.
Alert relevant stakeholders of any inventory shortages or discrepancies that may impact order fulfillment.
Documentation and Reporting :
Maintain accurate records of sales orders, including order details, customer information, and transaction history.
Generate reports on order status, sales performance, and other relevant metrics as needed.
Assist in identifying trends or patterns in order data to optimize sales processes and improve efficiency.
Coordinate the deliveries and returns with the customers and the warehouse, to avoid out of time delivery, and a correct and on time collection of returned items.
