Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hospitality Operations Manager to lead our Housekeeping team in achieving exceptional guest satisfaction ratings and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
As a critical member of our shipboard management team, you will be responsible for managing all Housekeeping functions and team members onboard. Your expertise will ensure that all guest staterooms and public areas meet brand standards, providing an exceptional experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
1. Lead and motivate a team of empowered individuals who strive to deliver exceptional guest service, taking ownership and accountability for reacting to guest feedback and requests effectively and efficiently.
2. Mentor, develop, and provide both classroom-style and on-the-job training to team members to strengthen their current performance and preparation for succession planning.
3. Oversee, coordinate, and administer the Housekeeping Division schedule in conjunction with the shoreside support group, actively identifying and monitoring scheduling needs.
4. Effectively manage all Laundry Operations onboard, ensuring the Laundry Master has necessary skills, training, tools, information, and support to deliver services flawlessly and consistently.
5. Actively manage and review yearly budgets for Housekeeping and Laundry cost centers / expenses and revenue streams.
6. Lead the division in achieving and exceeding quantitative and qualitative goals and targets set for Housekeeping guest satisfaction ratings, GOLD Anchor Quality Reviews, employee satisfaction scores, Public Health inspections and audits, and Housekeeping Operational Reviews.
7. Maintain and communicate current knowledge of all ship's regular events and special functions to provide accurate and updated information to guests and housekeeping team members.

A working knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, chemical handling, linen par levels, public health standards, computers, internet access, and office software packages is essential.
