Controls Engineer - Design

Job Title : Controls Engineer Location : Open to relocate to DAI's locations (Dallas, GE or Atlanta, TX, or WA or CA)

Job Description :

Develops and designs control system; develop and implements bench test.

Validate / Alters software and equipment to ensure that sensors and actuators and functioning according to specifications.

Supports and debugs complex problem and change requests.

Develop and prepares cost estimation; compiles required cost and equipment information and writes and reviews appropriation requests.

Investigates problems and requirements of projects, and develops plans for solutions in line with economic, personnel, and environmental considerations.

Develop / validate for the installation and technical support of Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) based hardware and software.

Verify and define clear controls system specifications and work with OEM’s.

Create detailed controls system design review and follow approvals.

Develop, installation / startup, modify -PLC, handshaking verification and troubleshooting with OEM’s.

Runoff verification (CPES requirements and controls verification (handshaking / CMES / Integration)

Support the production operation by providing responses to breakdowns to assist maintenance with related controls systems to minimize equipment downtime.

Troubleshoot and perform all required electrical and controls systems on automated equipment
