We offer opportunities for Visualization Engineers Analyst level to work on projects at the design stage and on-site visualization commissioning, leading small or medium projects where applicable.
Responsibilities
- Visualization Design of Material Handling Automation Systems, working independently with minimal guidance, usually from a professional-level engineer, while coordinating activities according to level of responsibility.
- Responsible for providing Visualization Solutions.
- Work closely with the Controls Engineer Lead, Project Managers, System Integration Managers, the Customer, and related areas to develop and implement Visualization Solutions. Travel to sites for Visualization commissioning as needed.
- Assist in administrative tasks, monitor project execution, and perform on-site visualization tasks as a Controls Analyst engineer in Visualization.
- Prepare Visualization documents such as calculations, design specifications, and Visualization commissioning checklists; work independently with minimal guidance.
- Attend Technical Reviews to understand the Visualization scope, critical dates, third-party involvement, and technology used in the project.
- Review Technical Review information (control drawings, PLC code, and related data) to perform Visualization design and commissioning.
- Mentor and share knowledge with less experienced engineers.
- Typically manage the development and design of multiple projects or large projects with moderate to considerable complexity.

Design Phase
Tech review : participate in the tech review to request project information from the controls team, including programs, drawings, builder aliases, delivery dates, access, and server information.Request licenses for software used (Ignition, Iconics, FactoryTalk, Kepware).Log in to Maestro, load the project, and create the .json file for the VTool; import the .json file into the VTool.Create areas, assign objects to control areas, assign operational areas, and create dashboards.Generate and link the generic GDF to the VTool.Create tags for each device following the AOIs from the PLC program and generate their objects in the GDF; make any necessary adjustments. Create cabinet tags as well.Work with special equipment or third-party software as included in scope (e.g., FlexSort, DMS, RapidPal, monorail, stackers / destackers, robots).Extract files for the workbench on the server (assets and alarms). Convert GDF to a mobile HMI version for the server.Server Configuration
Request server information (IP) and access with IT support; obtain credentials if necessary. If it's a Dematic server, ensure information is on hand.Test remote access to the server and move software and project files as required.Install software and activate relevant licenses; configure server(s) as single or multi-server as needed.Commissioning Phase
Run tool files in Spyder / Script as a quality check before moving to the server.Upload VTool files to the workbench and ensure 100% quality remotely before site travel.Verify alarms (no missing enable, jam, or e-stop) by cross-checking with the program; travel to site for Visualization commissioning.Test two statuses for each bed on site by triggering jams and motor faults; test any manual status as applicable.Coordinate stop testing with controls; ensure 100% of stops are tested. Test all special equipment with controls support.Update layout to reflect on-site installation; verify reports, dashboards, views, zooms, and screen features; adjust as needed.Schedule a client training session (Viz link shared for client use) and follow up post-delivery for any required changes.Seniority level
