Your Role

As a Senior Hardware Engineer in Battery Management Systems (BMS) for energy management, you will lead the development of advanced electronic components that support key automotive trends such as electrification and environmental sustainability. You will collaborate across disciplines including Mechanical Design, Software, Testing, and Systems Engineering to deliver robust, innovative solutions.

Your Tasks

• Define and develop hardware architecture for energy management systems, ensuring scalability and compliance with automotive standards.
• Design electronic concepts supported by Worst Case Analysis, DFMEA, and electronic / thermal simulations.
• Collaborate with Mechanical Designers and PCB Layout Engineers to define and optimize PCB concepts.
• Lead hardware development activities throughout the automotive project lifecycle, from concept to production.
• Ensure compliance with functional safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262) and EMC requirements.
• Conduct design reviews and ensure documentation meets internal and customer standards.
• Interface with cross-functional teams and customers to align technical requirements and resolve issues.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership within the hardware team.
• Support supplier selection and technical evaluation of components.
• Drive continuous improvement in hardware development processes and tools.
