Overview :
The Systems Access – Management and Administration role is responsible for managing credentials for MasTec client systems and supported platforms. This position requires technical expertise, strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, and effective communication to deliver high-quality service to both internal and external customers.
The ideal candidate is well-versed in systems engineering principles and has a solid understanding of enterprise systems architecture, deployment, and integration. Prompt issue resolution is essential to minimize downtime and maintain business continuity.
Responsibilities :
- Manage service requests for access credentials to MasTec client systems and platforms.
- Support internal (MasTec employees) and external (approved vendor personnel) customers.
- Vet service requests based on strict criteria, prerequisites, and requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure requests meet processing standards.
- Monitor processes, proactively identify issues, and ensure service quality.
- Ensure timely and efficient handling of service requests.
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding expectations and deliverables.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including job aids, access requirements, and troubleshooting guides.
- Provide weekly activity reports to management with insights and trends.
- Communicate with clients strictly within the defined scope of work.
- Share knowledge, best practices, and lessons learned to support knowledge management.
- Participate in quality assurance and testing activities as needed.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to enhance customer satisfaction.
Qualifications :
Education and Work Experience Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Information Systems, or Management Information SystemsMinimum of 2 years of relevant experience or training.Experience in construction, telecommunications, or engineering fields preferred.Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required :
Ability to manage high volumes of service requests, including those impacted by system or process changes.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Familiarity with Power BI for building business solutions and generating insights.Understanding of project management concepts and workflow automation.Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively.Capable of working independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.Working Environment :
Standard U.S. business hours : Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM CSTOn-site work only; remote work is not permitted.Software Knowledge : Microsoft Office SuiteDaily routine :Perform general office duties, including attending meetings, collaborating with the team on assigned responsibilities, processing requests for user credential resets (passwords).Tracking requests and building reporting for the request to understand trends and find opportunities for efficiencies.
