Presales Manager

Job Description :

The individual will be responsible for leading client engagements, RFP responses, developing service offerings and participate in pre-sales process including development of proposals and estimates. This role required technically strong individual with diverse Enterprise networking, Data Centre networking, Routing &switching and security competencies who is confident under pressure and has demonstrated these skills in large scale Network Infrastructure designs as well.

Also critical for this role is the need for understanding of Business development and identifying the relevant specific components and interfaces needed for putting a winning solution in front of customer.

The individual must have solid understanding on design aspects across DC LAN, Campus LAN (and WLAN) and WAN technologies. Should be a “guru” in understanding Network technologies should have exposure to some of these platforms as well. The role will require expertise in Cisco, VMWare, HPE Aruba, Infoblox, Riverbed and similar platforms and entails designing the solutions in cutting edge Network Technologies in SDN, SDWAN, wifi6 platforms.

The candidate should have 16+ years or more of experience in Network technologies in roles like Presales leader, manager of deployment services, manager of TAC services, BU manager in leading OEM, manager COE team etc.

The candidate should have proven track record of handling a large team of technical resources and should have experience of stake holder management / escalation management

Experience of handling large size network bids (RFx) in domestic or international markets is mandatory

Responsibilities

§ This roles requires the candidates to manage and guide the teams working on next-generation technologies like SDN , SD-WAN , Data Centre virtualization , Software defined data centers , multi cloud networking , Edge networking , container networking

§ In-depth knowledge on platforms like Cisco ACI, VMWare NSX, cisco / silverpeak SD-WAN, Cisco Nexus series, Arista DC offering , Aruba wireless etc. is must.

§ Knowledge on DC network virtualization based on SDN controllers and virtual switches.

§ Understanding on NFV offerings from industry leading OEMs.

§ Understanding on public cloud networking ( AWS / Azure / GCP ) and migration approaches from on-prem to public cloud is mandatory .

Knowledge & Experience

§ Should preferably have 12+ years of hands-on experience in Network technologies.

§ Senior roles in Network OEM / SI / Outsourcing companies

§ Should possess expert industry certifications like VCIX or CCIE.

§ Cloud networking certifications, certifications like Redhat Engineer / Certified Kubernetes associate are added advantage

§ Proven skillset in Network Automation frameworks

§ Very strong commercial sense of running multi-million-dollar bids

§ Excellent technical architecture and technical documentation skills.

§ Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.

§ Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

§ Expert in Microsoft excel and PowerPoint

§ Strong negotiation skills

§ Willingness for international travel at a short notice.
