The FP&A Jr. Analyst is part of the Global Capability Center (GCC) in Mexico City, supporting the Taste Elevation Finance Team based in Chicago. The Junior FP&A Analyst contributes to core financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities including monthly reporting, forecasting, and performance tracking. Working under the guidance of FP&A Sr. Manager, the role is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in corporate finance within a global FMCG environment and to develop analytical and business partnering skills in a fast-paced and multinational setting.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and performance dashboards for business review meetings;
- Support forecasting and budgeting cycles by consolidating data inputs, updating models and validating accuracy;
- Perform variance analysis vs. forecast, budget and last year;
- Collaborate with other team members to gather financial and operational data from different systems and sources;
- Maintain and enhance recurring reporting tools, templates and trackers using Excel and / or Power BI;
- Ensure data quality and consistency across all reporting outputs;
- Support simple ad-hoc financial analysis and requests from the Taste Elevation Finance Team in North America;
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field;Experience
2-3 years of experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, Business Controllership functions;Financial business acumen, ideally within Food & Beverage or FMCG industries;Skills
Good analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail;Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Power Pivot) and knowledge of PowerPoint; Power BI is a plus;Eagerness to learn and grow within a global finance environment;Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal;Collaborative mindset and a proactive attitude;Location
