Role Overview :

Responsible for the accounting records of IMI Precision companies in Mexico (Norgren, S.A. de C.V. and Norgren Manufacturing de Mexico, S.A. de C.V. Apply and follow up with other departments in the application of internal control procedures. Review that the balances of the accounts that are affected during their processes are not overvalued or undervalued. Support in the review and update of the area's manuals and procedures in the case of any change or improvement made in internal control, in addition to carrying out activities related to general accounting mainly at the end of the month and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform policy preparation of accounting records relating to assets, liabilities, income, and expenses by reviewing and analyzing the accounting records.
• Review other accounting journals prepared by other team members for their correct recording and accounting status.
• Perform accounting information analysis reports in G / L accounts at the level of income, expenses, assets and liabilities, to detect deviations and / or new operations or to support in decision-making.
• Perform analyses and reconciliations of accounting accounts to identify possible deviations or necessary adjustments in the accounting records.
• Monitor compliance with and adherence to General Accepted Accounting Procedures (GAAP) and principles including company policies.
• Perform the monthly bank reconciliations of the different accounts in Pesos and USD for both companies and the respective accounting policies that are applicable.
• Participate in the different Accounting, Tax and / or Internal Control audits carried for the companies, assisting in the preparation of reports or obtain information to deliver and support for those.
• Assist the Tax Department in the preparation of Reports or Declarations to be filed with the different tax authorities.
• Perform reviews and / or analysis of petty cash expenses, expenses to be checked and travel expenses.
• Attend to the doubts of other internal clients or departments in relation to accounting issues, requisitions, projects, among others.
• Participation in the generation of reports for budgeting process (monthly, quarterly or annually).
• Participation in the monthly closing process for IMI Precision companies.
• Other assigned accounting activities.
