Manage functionality of workflows in Winshuttle and do advanced troubleshooting when needed Manage PIM including users / permissions, imports / exports, and integrations Write queries, primarily in Microsoft SQL Enterprise Data Warehouse, to measure quality and completion of Master Data elements and to populate alerting jobs when data rules are not met, or elements are missing Own the required functionality of S4 MDA tool as it pertains to the overall Master Data workflow process Work with teams across Technology to ensure that integrations are performing as expected and step in to troubleshoot when they fail. Build views into Data Quality queries using Microsoft Power BI and partner with BI Engineering team to buildout Data Quality Power BI Dataset. Designed, tested, and deployed workflow automation solutions to streamline SAP master data processes. Work with IT to develop automated data pipelines, API integrations, and ETL processes for seamless data management. Own the maintenance and performance of our Master Data tools, including managing log files, maintenance / upgrades, outage communication and diagnosing system failures. Analyze problems and look for trends, always keeping management informed of problem areas. Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science, MIS, IT or another technical computing field. 3 years of professional experience in a related field Experience with database design both conceptual and physical Performance troubleshooting and resolution experience (index tuning, profiling, job scheduling), related software tools for monitoring and management Experience determining methods and procedures to be implemented and used on the most complex new technologies to enhance performance Experience with Master Data Management and Product Information Management systems required. Ideal candidate has strong experience in the technology stack utilized by Carhartt, including : Evolve Winshuttle S4 MDA Tool (ABAP experience a plus) Centric / PLM Experience implementing automated workflows using tools (Evolve, Power Automate, or similar). 2 years or more Progressive IT experience including but not limited to the following technologies : Experience with MS SQL Server database platform Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) preferred Programming language experience with one or more of the following : C#, C++, Python, R preferred Working with and developing Restful Web Services preferred Developing Web Applications in a Microsoft .Net C# environment preferred Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services and / or Microsoft Power BI preferred Microsoft DAX query language preferred Developing and supporting cloud-based (PaaS) database platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure preferred Big Data platforms and Data Lake environments such as Hadoop preferred Knowledge and experience of Data Science and Machine learning techniques preferred Security experience as it applies to compliance, protection of assets, and company security preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to deliver presentations and convey technical and design strategies to different audiences Experience with Azure DevOps a plus Strong people and communication skills with the ability to deal with stressful situations involving equipment and application failures in a composed and constructive manner Ability to take direction from more than one person and handle a variety of tasks at one time Dependable, accessible after hours in the event of a system failure, work as needed to maintain equipment in off-hours Available outside of normal business hours in the event of a system failure and work as needed to maintain equipment in off-hours. Normal office environment; office setting.Extended periods of time sitting, standing, typing on a computer is required. National and International travel required (up to 10%).
Job Summary
This position is responsible for the administration of our Master Data tools and workflows, including the automation of master data processes, and for writing queries and alerts that bring transparency into data quality.
