We're looking for a Process Engineer specialized in Gravity Casting to drive stability, quality, and continuous improvement in our aluminum foundry. In this role, you will take ownership of critical production processes, optimize casting parameters, support new product launches, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure flawless execution on the shop floor.
Develop, optimize, and standardize parameters for gravity casting processes.
Work with tooling and design teams to improve mold performance, cooling systems, and gating layouts.
Ensure metal quality through proper melting, degassing, modification, and handling practices.
Lead continuous improvement projects focused on cycle time, quality, and process stability.
Collaborate daily with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Tooling teams to solve complex issues.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Metallurgical Engineering, or related field.
Experience in aluminum gravity casting (tilting, ladle pouring, permanent molds).
Strong knowledge of metal flow, solidification, defect analysis, and microstructure behavior.
Hands-on experience with process controls, SPC, PFMEA, DOE, and Lean tools.
Ability to lead projects, drive data-based decisions, and work in fast-paced environments.
