Overview

Onsite Medical Representative, Workplace, Health and Safety at Amazon. The Onsite Medical Representative (OMR) serves as the site’s medical representative in the FC. The OMR provides first aid, proactively analyzes tasks for potential safety issues, participates in the workers’ compensation process, and implements a site wellness program.

Key responsibilities

• Manage AmCare room and attend to occupational health prevention and medical emergency cases on site.
• Support the site associates with Return to Work (RTW) plans following occupational recommendations for injury / illness, in addition to supporting accommodation for vulnerable people at work.
• Manage AmCare supplies stock, procurement and emergency equipment inspection.
• Maintain associate confidentiality and keep controlled access to the AmCare room.
• Report to the WHS Manager (Site WHS Manager / WHS Manager / Multi-Site WHS Manager) and support an assigned site as medical representative.
