Sr. Production Engineer

Temporary position (6 months)

As a Contractor Field Engineer with Target, you will provide services that support vendors in delivering safe and quality owned brand products, leveraging your expertise in product compliance, quality & regulatory requirements. Your service will focus on proactive and preventive quality assurance and control, delivering end-to-end results through different programs.

Responsibilities

• Validate factories operate with sound quality processes and manufacturing capabilities before producing for Target.
• Partner to ensure program expectations and quality assurance requirements are understood prior to production starting.
• Validate that all products meet safety and regulatory requirements and Target performance standards.
• Elevate factory performance through technical support to drive continuous improvement of manufacturing and quality processes.
• Proactively partner with Responsible Sourcing Team on potential non-compliance issues or support them on resolution.
• Proactively provide support with product sample review as applicable.
• Partner with Sourcing team to accurately report verification of factory production processes (material status, fabric, cutting, etc.).
• Monitor and follow up on production progress to ensure timelines, quality standards, and order requirements are fulfilled. Lead solving production-related issues while keeping key stakeholders up to date (this may include fabric mill, printing, etc.) as needed.
