The Role

Upon successful application for this position, you will become an integral member of the North American team, tasked with driving enzyme sales, and fostering commercial expansion within the region. A significant portion of this role's activities will be concentrated in Mexico and other Central American territories. In this capacity, you will serve as the principal liaison between AB Enzymes and our current and potential clientele, overseeing the management and development of the North American Food sector.

You will be responsible for :

  • Attain and surpass sales targets and key performance indicators in collaboration with direct accounts and appointed distributors
  • Foster enduring, multi-tiered relationships with key stakeholders, including senior executives, procurement specialists, operational heads, quality assurance teams, research and development, and application managers
  • Establish trust and credibility with the technical and commercial representatives of prospective accounts
  • Engage in comprehensive account management such as, demand forecasting, pipeline optimization, and sales projection
  • Leverage the capabilities of the Customer Relationship Management system to actively shape and oversee the sales opportunity pipeline and associated activities
  • Engage in synergistic partnerships with distribution channels to enhance business growth
  • Work in tandem with Global Key Account teams to align on key decisions for global accounts
  • Proactively participate in industry seminars and conferences to forge new relationships, gauge market trends, and advocate for AB Enzymes' product line
  • Facilitate the integration of customer needs with AB Enzymes' technical support services as required
  • Gather, assess, and disseminate market intelligence to inform strategic decision-making

About You

  • Seeking an individual with a customer-centric approach, possessing outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, coupled with a deep-seated passion for comprehending and fulfilling consumer requirements
  • Extensive expertise in the food sector of Mexico and Central America, with particular emphasis on enzymatic applications
  • Proficient in the technical aspects of food and baking production, including formulation and ingredient selection
  • Valuable experience in collaboration with distribution networks is advantageous
  • Skilled in discerning and appraising significant market opportunities through an understanding of market trends, consumer demands, and potential for growth
  • Willingness and capability to travel 60% of the time throughout Mexico and Central America
  • Excellent proficiency in both Spanish and English, with strong capabilities in written and verbal communication
