As a Data Analyst II , you’ll be responsible for producing reports from data sets originating across Microsoft’s broader consumer business, to ensure compliance with regulatory and compliance obligations such as Europe’s Digital Services Act (DSA) and UK’s Online Safety Act (OSA). You’ll work closely with policy makers, legal experts, product managers and external partners to ensure that DigiTS broader solutions are aligned with Microsoft\'s values and standards, as well as the needs and expectations of Microsoft’s customers.

Responsibilities

• As you apply in-depth knowledge of the business you will proactively anticipate business questions and develop data frames and analytical solutions required to meet Microsoft’s legal and transparency requirements related to content moderation.
• You will guide the production of legal, compliance and regulatory reports. Validates that data meets the requirements of the regulations and complies with governance rules and regulations. Ensures work activities and results are in alignment with principles and controls. Identifies and addresses impact of updated regulations on work activities and results.
• You apply expertise to data sources and determine optimal methods for integrating data. You’ll apply expertise to address business questions and guide teammates on solutions.
• You will share insights and analytical expertise to tell stories of analysis through dashboards, reports, internal forums, and more. You’ll partner cross-functionally to advise on experimental design and determine and recommend innovative methods for sharing insights.
• You will identify and promote methods that create efficiency in core work and recommend and socialize optimal methods for sharing and scaling insights. You’ll understand the relationship between analytical models, coach junior engineers as needed and present results to senior stakeholders.
• You will leverage working relationships across teams to ensure alignment and drive the adoption of recommended data sources and analysis practices. You’ll maintain expertise in privacy requirements and identify and address impact of updated guidance on work activities and results.
• You will Identify and promote methods that create efficiency in core work related to analytics and reporting that are reusable, readily discoverable by decision makers, self-service, and directed to meaningful interpretation of data and driving business decisions.
