A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Bid / Proposal Manager, you will develop the optimal technical solutions to customers’ business problems and lead the technical vision in solving those problems in supporting the Sales and Business Development organizations in closing opportunities.

How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Design cost solutions to address customer specific business problems.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Business Development to determine and document within the proposal the optimal way to bring together the customer’s business needs and technical solutions in a manner that supports the customer’s long-term goals.
  • Representing the technical solution within a clear concise customer focused proposal.
  • Support cross-functional teams and establish the appropriate internal / external resources to drive opportunity solutions.
  • Support activity, pipeline, and revenue goals on a quarterly basis.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or a related discipline preferred.
  • Experience writing executive level summaries to position business value and customer outcomes
  • 5+ years combined experience in solution development, technical writing and proposal creation
  • Basic understanding of the power industry, US market, customer requirements, and competitive landscape.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Project management, engineering, or field service experience is a plus.

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
