We are seeking a seasoned IT leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of our cloud-hosted data center.

  • This includes managing staff, monitoring system performance, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing guidance on best practices.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have :

  • Strong bilingual skillsets in English and Spanish (C1 and / or C2)
  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Extensive experience in Linux server administration, software architecture, DevOps, and code auditing
  • Experience with virtualization and container technologies such as VPS, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Strong knowledge in web hosting and domain management
  • Excellent team management experience and skillset

    • Daily Roles & Responsibilities

    The successful candidate will be responsible for :

  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the cloud environment
  • Ensuring security and operational compliance with industry standards
  • Monitoring and maintaining VPS deployments
  • Overseeing installation, patching, and maintenance of server and software deployments
  • Troubleshooting system and network performance issues
  • Developing and implementing technical policies and procedures
  • Training and supervising staff
  • Working closely with other IT teams to support the overall technology infrastructure of the organization
  • Managing and monitoring backup and disaster recovery processes to ensure business continuity
  • Providing technical support to end users and resolving incidents and service requests in a timely manner

    • Availability

    The candidate should be available to work Monday through Friday 8 am to 1 pm EST (New York) with a 60-day probation period, part-time hours dependent on probation projects. After the probation period, the position will be full-time.

    Compensation & Benefits

    The successful candidate will receive :

  • An hourly rate of $50.00 per hour - project-based work with fixed-price budgets
  • Deadline bonuses of 5% of project budget
  • Profit sharing of 2% of all Konect360 revenue
