Calypso Specialist

Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for establishing and managing comprehensive approaches to define, set up, and troubleshoot issues arising from day-to-day activities on greenfield Calypso instances.

You will develop necessary solutions to back-office, accounting, operations, and finance requirements, creating and delivering assigned projects / tasks and revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.

In addition, you will ensure that supporting documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored, working closely with relevant business and technology stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the project(s).

Furthermore, you will submit status reports to stakeholders, coordinate, and provide updates to steering committees, collaborating with key functional or business stakeholders to achieve clear outcomes / deliverables in relation to the strategic and transformational book of work.

Lastly, you will manage deliverables ensuring transparency of risks, issues, and dependencies that are fully aligned to functional / business owners. You may also act as a business analyst to help the team gather and write requirements and acceptance criteria.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience working in capital markets and on Calypso
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles
• Deep knowledge of financial products across assets
• Proven track record of delivery of accounting and finance-related solutions within Calypso
• Experience of adherence to governance frameworks / implementation and handover to BAU
• Comprehensive knowledge of trade flow, trading systems, and related concepts and technology, including valuation and client / market risk management
