Job Title : KYC Analyst / Compliance Specialist Job Scope As a KYC Analyst, you will play a critical role in protecting financial institutions from risks associated with serving customers who may be involved in illegal activities or violating financial regulations. Your responsibilities will focus on : Conducting Know Your Customer (KYC) research and risk analysis for corporate clients. Reviewing new customer accounts and verifying identities. Assessing risk levels associated with customers, products, and transactions. Supporting anti-money laundering (AML), counter-terrorist financing (CTF), and other financial crime prevention efforts. Monitoring customer accounts for suspicious financial activity. Key Responsibilities You will perform daily KYC operational activities in alignment with the Service Level Agreement (SLA) signed with Coface NAR Region, including : Reporting & Documentation Create daily reports to monitor and track backlog. Prepare Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) documentation. Update paperwork for metrics and reporting purposes. Training & Process Improvement Develop training materials for commercial teams to reinforce best practices. Participate in system updates and improvement projects. Contribute to the creation and revision of KYC Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Account Management Review, follow up, and resolve pending items for assigned accounts. Ensure timely and accurate completion of KYC reviews. Compliance & Integrity Uphold Coface’s standards of integrity, security, and reputation. Adhere to internal controls and compliance requirements at both operational and entity levels. Note : This list is not exhaustive. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by your manager as needed. Candidate Profile Technical Skills Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication. Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with high accuracy. Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize effectively. Solid understanding of KYC and compliance processes. Strong research and analytical skills. Proficiency in MS Excel. Ability to work independently and take accountability. Forward-thinking with a focus on process improvement. Core Competencies Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to thrive in a multicultural and shared services environment. Education Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field. Experience 2–3 years of experience in a KYC or Compliance department. 1–2 years of hands-on experience performing KYC reviews and preparing EDDs. Experience working in English-speaking companies. Prior experience in the trade credit insurance industry is preferred. Experience in shared services and multicultural environments is a plus. Location : Ciudad de México / Mexico City (Hybrid – 2 days onsite, 3 days remote)
