As the Accounting Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of our organization, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and contributing to the company's financial success.Direct and manage all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger operationsPrepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Oversee the budgeting process and provide regular financial forecasts and reports to senior managementManage and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and goal-oriented work environmentImplement and maintain internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial dataCoordinate with external auditors for annual audits and ensure compliance with relevant financial regulationsOversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reportingAnalyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities for cost savings, and areas for improvementManage cash flow and treasury operations, optimizing working capital managementCollaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processesStay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and tax regulations, ensuring organizational complianceQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required)CPA, CMA, or MBA (preferred)Minimum of 4 to 7 years in similar position, preferably in the hospitality industryIn-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standardsStrong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite, particularly ExcelExperience with hotel management systems (e.g., Opera) is a plusExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detailStrong leadership abilities with experience managing and developing accounting teamsOutstanding verbal and written communication skills in English; fluency in Spanish is highly desirableProven ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExperience with financial analysis, budgeting, and forecastingKnowledge of local tax regulations and compliance requirements in MexicoAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholdersStrong organizational skills with a focus on meeting deadlines and achieving financial goalsAdditional InformationWhat Is In It For YouLearning programs through our AcademiesOpportunity to develop your talent and grow within your property and across the worldAbility to make a difference through our Corporate Social Responsibility activities.Our Commitment To Diversity & InclusionWe are an inclusive company, and our ambition is to attract, recruit, and promote diverse talent.
