Summary

We are looking to hire a Finance Operations Analyst to join the G&A team. This is a high-impact role at the forefront of Placer’s transformation into an AI-first organization. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Finance Operations, this role blends AI productivity leadership with finance operations.

This role will partner across departments to identify, plan, help implement, and track AI-driven solutions that enhance efficiency, output quality, and decision-making. They will also support core Finance Operations responsibilities, including reporting, research, presentations, project management, spend analysis, and executive support.

This is a hands-on, highly visible role for a proactive problem-solver eager to learn the full scope of our business and drive measurable results.

Responsibilities

• AI Transformation : Identify, prioritize, and drive automation opportunities across functions using AI.
• Support the CTO’s team and others in building scalable workflows, templates, and playbooks that embed AI into daily operations.
• Partner with department leaders to ensure their teams maximize AI for quality and efficiency.
• Track and report AI-driven impact (adoption, savings, time reduction, output improvements).
• Finance Operations & Reporting : Support financial reporting, spend analytics, and other ad-hoc analysis.
• Conduct research to inform vendor, market, and strategic finance decisions.
• Assist with contract tracking, usage audits, and cost-optimization initiatives.
• Develop and maintain executive-ready reports and dashboards.
• Drive continuous improvement in Finance Operations workflows and tooling, including intake of requests, approvals, renewals, and compliance.
• Serve as a trusted partner to the Senior Director, Finance Ops on cross-functional projects.
• Support Executive priorities with analysis, presentations, and follow-through.
• Anticipate needs and proactively drive tasks to completion with high quality.
