Job Description : Tax Accounting Senior Manager

Position Summary

The Tax Accounting Senior Manager will oversee the Bank’s income tax financial reporting for the group and its subsidiaries. This role is responsible for preparing and reviewing income tax provisions, disclosures, and accruals under U.S. GAAP and IFRS. The Senior Manager will provide technical guidance on tax accounting, support significant accounting items, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. The position requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to partner across Finance, Tax, and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Tax Accounting & Reporting

• Manage financial reporting for income taxes of the Bank and its subsidiaries.
• Prepare and review quarterly and annual income tax provisions and related disclosures.
• Review monthly tax accruals and tax balance roll forwards to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Provide technical guidance on tax reporting matters under U.S. GAAP (ASC 740) and IFRS.
• Interact with Finance, Risk, and Accounting teams on significant accounting items with tax implications.
• Oversee the calculation of current and deferred tax assets and liabilities, valuation allowances, and uncertain tax positions.
