Job Description : Product Manager (Messaging - Technical Role)

Location : Remote

About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to join our team and help drive the development of our messaging systems . In this role, you will focus on the technical aspects of workflow design, data flow, and API design while ensuring compliance with security and privacy standards . You will work closely with engineering teams, stakeholders, and cross-functional partners to enhance the reliability and scalability of our messaging platform.

Responsibilities

  • Define and manage the technical roadmap for messaging systems.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design event-driven architectures and optimize system workflows .
  • Ensure messaging systems meet privacy, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Work on API design to enable seamless integrations with other platforms.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align technical and business objectives .
  • Maintain and improve technical documentation related to messaging workflows.
  • Identify risks and challenges in system architecture and propose solutions.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as a Product Manager in a technical role .
  • Familiarity with privacy and security principles in a messaging context.
  • Strong knowledge of event-driven architecture, system workflows, and API design .
  • Experience working with engineering teams on technical documentation and system integration.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    • Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Experience with system integrations and backend architecture .
  • Exposure to microservices, Kafka, RabbitMQ, WebSockets, or other messaging technologies .
  • Knowledge of authentication and authorization in secure messaging systems.
