Position Overview
The Privacy Operations team is part of Insulet’s Security and Privacy Operations (SPO) within the Technology organization. The team manages daily privacy activities and collaborates with product and franchise teams to embed privacy by design. Working with Information Security, Data Protection Officers, and Legal Counsel, you will ensure personal information is protected and processed according to customer and regulatory standards, impacting our products and business processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead a small team of privacy professionals focusing on privacy operations excellence, including handling data subject requests, privacy incident management, vendor due diligence, and privacy impact assessments.
- Drive privacy program maturity initiatives and prepare for new regulations and market expansion.
- Provide privacy guidance to HR, finance, customer support, marketing, sales, legal, and technology teams in line with Privacy by Design policies.
- Manage privacy risks, develop risk registers, and implement risk reduction strategies with business partners and product teams.
- Develop and maintain privacy policies and procedures in coordination with management, legal, and engineering teams.
- Identify and implement improvements to Insulet’s global privacy program, including tooling and privacy-enhancing technologies.

Professional privacy certifications (e.g., CIPP, CIPM, CIPT) or Privacy Engineering certification.Minimum of 8+ years’ privacy experience in regulated industries (life sciences or tech preferred).Proven leadership in privacy teams and strategic initiatives.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Privacy Law, IT, or related fields.Additional Information
