About Position :

What You'll Do :

Design, develop, and maintain

secure, scalable applications using modern tech stacks. Collaborate

with security architects and cross-functional teams to implement security standards and enhancements. Ensure adherence to

best practices

for security, performance, and reliability in line with eBay’s coding standards. Conduct

security assessments

, identify vulnerabilities, and resolve them to safeguard platforms. Participate in

code reviews

, providing constructive feedback to enhance security and promote secure coding. Stay updated with

Expertise You'll Bring :

Education

: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience). Experience

: Proven full-stack development background with a focus on

Java development.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in

Java

Springboot, Node JS, React

Angular. Managing and mentoring teams experience is required. Familiarity with

workflow engines

for app development (plus). Expertise in

security principles

and risk mitigation tools / methodologies. Experience with

RESTful APIs

and

OpenAPI specification

SQL

and

NoSQL

databases. Familiarity with

secure cloud platforms

and architecture. Skilled in writing
