Dimensional Engineer Specialist

Job Responsibilities

• Lead problem-solving for BIW geometry and G / F fit issues during new vehicle launches and project execution at assembly plants.
• Develop and update GD&T drawings for BIW components and assemblies.
• Perform datum and tool locator and tolerance analysis to ensure KPI compliance of dimensional conformance and process capability during launch phases
• Approve assembly tooling and BIW gauge designs at suppliers and plants.
• Support validation of measurement systems and assembly tools during launch phases.
• Collaborate with metrology / plant teams to resolve build issues.
