CONSULTFIZ LATAM , a fully owned subsidiary of Confiz LLC is looking for an SQL Developer in Mexico with atleast with 7 years of experience to design, optimize, and maintain high-performance SQL databases, ensuring data integrity and security. Ideal candidates will have strong SQL expertise, experience preferably in the retail domain, and proficiency in cloud-based solutions and ETL processes, with Java experience being a significant plus. Depending upon expertise, strong candidates may additionally be given further responsibilities. Responsibilities

Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries to ensure high performance and reliability.
Design, develop, and maintain efficient and scalable SQL databases, queries, and stored procedures.
Collaborate with developers and analysts to ensure seamless integration between databases and applications.
Monitor and analyze database performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks or issues.
Implement and maintain data security, backup, and recovery strategies to protect critical information.
Perform data quality checks and ensure data integrity across systems.
Participate in database migrations and upgrades, ensuring minimal downtime and data loss.
Work in a dynamic environment to meet evolving business requirements and priorities.
Experience with Java is a plus.

Requirements

7-10 years of experience to design, optimize, and maintain high-performance SQL databases, ensuring data integrity and security.

Strong expertise in SQL Server (or similar RDBMS) and proficiency in writing complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.

Proficiency in database design, normalization, and data modeling.

Knowledge of performance tuning techniques and query optimization.

Experience with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., AWS RDS) is a plus.

Experience with ETL processes and tools (e.g., SSIS, or similar) is a plus.

Experience with scripting like PowerShell, Python etc is a plus.

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Understanding of data security standards and compliance requirements.
