Job Summary

Due to growth, we currently have opportunities available for Skilled Painters to be based based at our East Cowes facility, and invite applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates.

This role will involvecarrying out paint preparation on a variety of our contracts to meet drawing, specification and regulatory requirements.

Job Qualifications

Suitable applicants will be able to demonstrate the following:

ESSENTIAL

• Applications for this opportunity must be supported by appropriate signed Indentures of Apprenticeship (where applicable) and/or certification in relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQ in Paint or Paint Treatments or Materials Processing and Finishing (Surface Finishing)
• Keen eye for detail, and be competent in paint preparation, primer, bonding, and finishing techniques.
• Strong communication skills, flexible, and availability to work all shift patterns and overtime as required.

DESIRABLE

• Previous experience within the aerospace industry would be an advantage
