Electrical Project Engineer OverviewJob Description : The Electrical Project Engineer is responsible for providing technical expertise in the design, execution, supervision, and commissioning of electrical systems for infrastructure and operational projects. This role supports planning, risk management, and compliance while ensuring technical quality and operational efficiency.Key Activities : Electrical Systems Design & ReviewDesign, review, and validate electrical engineering, technical specifications, and drawings (medium & low voltage, lighting, grounding, emergency systems, UPS, generators, M&E integration)Review, supervise, and validate sustainability technologies such as photovoltaic panel systems and electromobility projectsSupervise compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and standardsProject Planning & Execution SupportSupport the development of technical scopes, schedules, and cost estimations for electrical worksManage electrical contractors, suppliers, and integrators to ensure quality and adherence to timelinesMonitor project progress, control costs, and report deviationsRequired Skills and Qualifications : Degree : Bachelor's degree in electrical or Electromechanical EngineeringProficiency in low & mid-voltage electrical design, switchgear design, single-line diagrams, and drawingsLoad analysis software (ETAP, SKM Power Tools, or similar — optional but valuable)Cost estimation and budget control techniquesRegulatory knowledge (NOM, NEC, NFPA, IEEE, IEC standards)Desirable certifications : Electrical Safety Certification, PMP, NFPA 70E, OSHA 30, Lean Six Sigma Yellow / Green BeltBenefits : This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of electrical projects, develop technical skills, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.We seek candidates with strong technical backgrounds, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
