Job Description Python Developer

Role Summary

The Python Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining efficient, scalable, and reliable applications using Python. This role is essential for process automation, data integration, API development, and supporting AI and data analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop backend applications using Python and frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
  • Design and maintain RESTful APIs for integration with internal and external systems.
  • Automate operational processes through custom scripts and tools.
  • Integrate solutions with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational (MongoDB) databases.
  • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, DevOps, Data Engineers) to deliver complete solutions.
  • Document code and technical processes clearly and thoroughly.

Technical Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Python development.
  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and SOLID principles.
  • Experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI frameworks.
  • Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with version control tools (Git) and agile methodologies.
  • Preferred experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure).

    • Education and Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Preferred certifications AWS Developer, Python Institute, Data Engineer (Google / Azure).
  • Participation in internal programs such as “AI Foundational Program” or “Data Foundational Program.”

    • Location and Work Mode

    Nearshore Mexico or other compatible time zones (ET / PT / CT). Remote work. Growth Opportunities : Involvement in digital transformation and generative AI projects. Potential to grow into senior or technical leadership roles with mentorship and training.
