Role Overview
Hands-on support role for enterprise Java applications. You will handle production issues, apply code-level fixes, and work across Java, Unix, and database layers. L2+ candidates must be comfortable stepping into L3 responsibilities.
Core Requirements
- 7–10 years in Java development / support (L2+ / L3).
- Strong Java / J2EE : REST API, Servlets, JSP, JDBC, Struts, Hibernate, Spring.
- Experience across Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere, and WebLogic .
- Advanced database skills ( DB2, Oracle, Sybase ).
- Solid Unix with shell / Perl scripting; ability to debug and modify scripts.
- Experience with Autosys, ProcMon, Crontab , or similar schedulers.
- Hands-on with Eclipse, NetBeans , Git, and Jenkins.
- Familiar with incident / problem / change management (Jira, ServiceNow).
- Comfortable making Java, Unix, and DB code changes directly in production environments following SDLC.
