This full-time hybrid position is based in our Mexico City office, with flexible work options available later. The role supports multiple business areas and an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and high-performing team that operates globally.

What the day will look like

As an Operations Leader in Aon\'s health actuarial and analytics area, your day-to-day will center on supervising client services and leading colleagues across a diverse, global health portfolio. You’ll balance benefits management with cost control, ensuring client programs align with their strategic goals. Expect to work with end-to-end solutions, applying a structured, systematic approach while employing Aon\'s purchasing power. You’ll build and nurture client relationships, meet or exceed delivery expectations, and help drive business retention and growth, including onboarding new clients and preparing them for seamless ongoing service.

  • Lead regional operational excellence : Oversee all project deliveries across a 20-30 member team, ensuring top-tier results in quality, cost, and timelines.
  • Empower and develop leaders : Take charge of the career advancement, succession planning and overseeing of people managers and teams through training, mentoring and job rotation.
  • Foster creativity and innovation and streamline operations : Advocate for outstanding methods, technology, and automation to improve team efficiency and prioritization.
  • Develop positive relationships with customers, boost business development, and support cross-departmental career growth opportunities.
  • Risk and governance leadership : Proactively coordinate risk management, facilitate succession planning for key positions, and work together to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and involvement.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

This role requires a strong foundation of leading others and understanding the nuances of a corporate environment. A candidate with at least six years of people leadership experience and 12 years in a work environment would feel challenged, yet equipped for the role.

  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and customer management abilities
  • Proven experience leading large teams and handling complex programs or portfolios
  • Adaptability and self-motivation in a fast-paced, high-growth setting
  • Skilled in applying technology to improve efficiencies and enhance outcomes
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and organizational change capability
  • Education

  • Bachelor\’s degree or equivalent experience in a business, management and / or technical field
  • PMP or similar qualifications along with an MBA or equivalent experience are preferred
  • Fluency in English (C1 level) is essential
