Objective

Ensure relevant category components are sourced on time according to Global Purchasing Policies. Execute assigned category strategies for CAPEX and ensure customer requirements are met to support production demands.

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure relevant category components are sourced on time according to Global Purchasing Policies.
• Conduct RFQs and benchmarks for vendors of category components.
• Achieve cost objectives for the assigned category.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for equipment acquisition by determining plant needs and actively supporting with market know-how, strategies, and negotiation.
• Lead savings initiatives and projects.
• Execute assigned category strategies for CAPEX.
• Ensure customer requirements are met to support production demands.
• Support sustainable strategies for the procurement of various capital goods.
• Manage reporting and database systems.
• Enhance the Global Information Database.
• Support supplier evaluation and categorization for CAPEX projects.
