Our client is a globally active industrial group with multiple manufacturing and service locations across Europe, the Americas, and Asia. The company develops and produces high-precision components and systems for leading OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers in the automotive and heavy-duty sectors.
To support the ongoing transformation and growth of its North American operations, the company is seeking to appoint a Regional Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The role is based in Mexico and includes additional responsibility for a smaller entity in the United States.
The CFO will report directly to the Group CFO and act as a trusted business partner to the Regional CEO. The role carries full functional responsibility for Finance & Controlling, Accounting, HR, IT, and Compliance in the region and plays a key role in driving business performance, transparency, and governance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and develop the finance, controlling, accounting, HR, and IT teams across sites in Mexico and the U.S.
- Ensure financial transparency and provide strategic decision support to the Regional CEO and Group CFO
- Guarantee timely and compliant financial reporting in line with IFRS and local GAAP (Mexico and U.S.)
- Drive performance improvements, cost optimization, and working capital efficiency
- Support long-term planning, investment cases, pricing strategies, and operational KPIs
- Ensure full compliance with internal controls, audit standards, tax laws, and corporate policies
- Oversee HR and IT functions from a financial, administrative, and governance perspective
- Act as a key interface to external auditors, tax advisors, and local authorities
Your Profile :
Completed university degree in Finance, Accounting, Business AdministrationSeveral years of experience in a senior finance leadership role within an industrial manufacturing environmentFamiliarity with Mexican tax and reporting standards and U.S. GAAPStrong track record in controlling, budgeting, cost accounting, and reporting in an international, multi-site contextExperience in HR administration, IT oversight, and collaboration with shared service structures is beneficialStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing, cross-functional teamsFluent in English and Spanish; German language skills are advantageousHands-on, structured, and business-driven mindset with strong communication and stakeholder skillsConfident in the use of ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and financial planning tools
