We are seeking an experienced ESHA Manager EMEA & Site SEO for our Gendorf site.
This is a key leadership role with responsibility for managing a team of direct reports and providing guidance to a broader network of safety professionals across the region.
Responsibilities
Environmental, Safety, and Health Compliance : Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and health regulations, and Clariant's ESHA guidelines across the EMEA region.
Provide expert ESHA and sustainability advice to plant management teams.
Initiate and perform audits and coordinate regional ESHA activities.
Safety Management
Ensure workplace and plant safety through risk assessments and preventive measures.
Evaluate new products and processes from an ESHA perspective.
Lead incident analysis and implement prevention actions.
Operational Management
Enhance emergency management organization and procedures.
Manage ESHA training programs.
Oversee waste management processes ensuring legal compliance and cost efficiency.
Requirements
Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Engineering.
5+ years of experience in plant management, occupational and / or process safety.
Fluency in English and German (written & spoken).
Emergency management experience and ability to adapt under pressure.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities and a service-oriented mindset.
Experience managing teams and influencing stakeholders.
