About the role

Samsara is looking for a strategic and data-driven Account Validation Specialist to pioneer expansion into new market segments. This role focuses on uncovering and qualifying high-potential US Mid-Market+ accounts not yet in Samsara’s ecosystem. You will act as a data detective and sales strategist, building a pipeline of quality new accounts to fuel the sales team and help meet growth targets.

This is a Hybrid position requiring 2 days per week in our office in Mexico City. Relocation assistance will not be provided for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and research potential 'greyspace' accounts not currently in our Salesforce database, using data analysis, tools, and market research.
  • Ensure the integrity of sales data by cleaning, validating, and mapping new accounts in Salesforce, assigning correct classifications (DVS) to ensure pipeline quality.
  • Engage with potential prospects through initial outreach and cold calling to qualify accounts and identify hot leads for handoff to the sales team.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to provide feedback on lead quality and assist in strategic allocation of newly discovered accounts.
  • Champion Samsara’s cultural principles (Customer Focus, Long-Term Thinking, Growth Mindset, Inclusion, Team Win) as we scale globally.

Minimum requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in a sales or sales development role, with cold calling and lead qualification.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Salesforce (SFDC), including account mapping, data cleaning, and administration.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to validate data, identify trends, and provide actionable feedback.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with leadership or sales teams.
  • An ideal candidate also has

  • Experience using advanced analytics or AI-powered tools for lead generation and account identification.
  • A track record of optimizing workflow processes for data management and sales pipeline integration.
