Your impact
Serve as site EHS lead for ongoing construction and staged commissioning; implement robust contractor controls (pre-job reviews, orientation, risk assessment, permit-to-work).
Plan and coordinate Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR-style) and safe handover; oversee critical milestones to validate controls prior to first production.
Ensure day-to-day compliance with applicable Mexican EHS requirements.
Own and maintain procedures, risk assessment, incident / near-miss investigation, CAPA, training / records.
Implement site practices consistent with AGCO Global EHS Policy; develop and execute the Queretaro roadmap toward ISO 45001 / 14001 readiness / certification in partnership with Regional / Global EHS.
Drive AGSAFE focus—Safety & Health, Environmental Sustainability, Behavior & Culture—using leading / lagging indicators to prevent SIF, reduce high-frequency risks, and elevate engagement.
Your Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in EHS, engineering, or related discipline; or equivalent experience.
Experience : 5–8 years EHS in manufacturing / agriculture / related industry with increasing responsibility; startup / commissioning experience preferred.
Technical : Working knowledge of Mexican EHS frameworks.
Systems : Proficiency with Enablon and familiarity with VelocityEHS (or similar) for data / analytics and ergonomics.
Preferred Certifications : CSP, ASP, GSP, CIH, ISO 45001 / 14001 internal / external auditor, lead auditor OSHA 30-hour (or Mexico-equivalent credentials).
