Commercial Director (Transformer)

Responsibilities

Manage the full commercial lifecycle, including quotations, contract reviews, pricing, and negotiations for North American customers.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients through regular communication, business visits, and technical-commercial engagement.

Coordinate with engineering, production, and finance teams to develop customized proposals aligned with client requirements and internal capabilities.

Ensure compliance with North American customer standards and expectations on transformer product design, delivery schedules, and contractual terms.

Monitor market trends and competitors to refine go-to-market strategies and improve win rates.

Facilitate smooth collaboration between Mexico-based operations and U.S. customer accounts, including support for factory audits and technical clarifications.

Oversee post-sales contract execution to ensure timely delivery, quality assurance, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years' experience in the transformer or power equipment industry, with a focus on commercial and technical customer engagement.

Deep familiarity with the North American (especially U.S.) transformer market, including pricing, product design, and delivery expectations.

Strong understanding of U.S.-C.A.-Mexico business models and cross-border commercial operations.

Demonstrated ability to manage complex accounts and support project execution across international teams.

Key Skills : Excellent sales and negotiation techniques, with the ability to maintain client relationships.

Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and internal teams at all levels.

Capable of analyzing market data to identify trends and opportunities.

Strong organizational and coordination skills to allocate resources and advance sales initiatives.

Resilient under pressure to meet sales targets.
