We’re now hiring a People Operations Leader to design and scale a world-class talent engine across our global offices.

This role is for a builder — someone who can create scalable people systems, grow high-performance teams, and maintain a strong culture through rapid growth. You’ll own the full people lifecycle, from attracting exceptional talent to ensuring our teams thrive and stay aligned with Proximity’s values.

Mission

Build a high-performance, globally aligned, values-driven organization by leading all aspects of People Operations — hiring, culture, performance, learning, compliance, and engagement — to power Proximity’s journey from high-growth to global scale.

Core Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Employer Brand

  • Design and own a global recruiting engine for engineering, product, design, and business roles.
  • Partner with leadership to define hiring plans aligned with growth goals.
  • Strengthen Proximity’s employer brand in AI, sports-tech, and media-tech talent ecosystems.

Culture & Engagement

  • Champion Proximity’s values globally, ensuring they are lived, not just written.
  • Design initiatives to foster inclusion, engagement, and cross-office cohesion.
  • Lead global all-hands, culture-building programs, and recognition frameworks.
  • Performance & Growth

  • Implement scalable OKR, feedback, and performance review systems.
  • Partner with leaders to build career pathways and growth plans for all roles.
  • Create learning & development programs that build both leadership and technical skills.
  • Global People Operations

  • Oversee HR operations across the US, UAE, and India, ensuring smooth onboarding, benefits, payroll, and compliance.
  • Partner with finance / legal on contracts, visa processes, and cross-border mobility.
  • Implement HR tech stack and analytics dashboards to track key people metrics.
  • Executive Partnering

  • Advise the CEO and leadership team on organizational design, talent strategy, and succession planning.
  • Act as a trusted confidant and problem-solver for leaders and employees alike.
  • What Success Looks Like in the first 90 days

    In this role, success will be measured by achieving the following outcomes within the first three months :

  • Hiring Velocity & Quality – Drive recruitment excellence by filling at least 90% of open roles, with a focus on ensuring >
  • 85% projected one-year retention.

  • Leadership Bench – Define and spearhead leadership hiring initiatives and succession planning strategies across global teams.
  • Cultural Alignment – Champion organizational culture by achieving ≥90% employee engagement and values-alignment scores in company-wide surveys.
  • Global Compliance – Ensure full compliance with local labor laws and global employment frameworks, maintaining a 100% compliance rate.
  • Learning & Development – Launch leadership and technical development programs with >
  • 100% participation across targeted employee groups.

  • Systems Scale – Implement scalable global HRIS and performance management systems, ensuring comprehensive coverage across all operating regions.
  • Requirements

    What Makes You a Great Fit

  • 5–12+ years in People Ops / HR leadership roles in high-growth, global tech or consulting companies.
  • Experience scaling teams across multiple geographies with different cultural and legal contexts.
  • Proven track record in hiring exceptional talent at speed, especially in competitive markets.
  • Strong understanding of HR systems, analytics, and compliance frameworks.
  • Natural culture builder with high EQ, communication skills, and trust-building ability.
  • Bonus Points

  • Experience in AI, sports-tech, media-tech, or product-led services companies.
  • Ex-founder or early-stage builder who understands scale-up challenges.
  • Expertise in cross-border talent mobility and remote-first / global hybrid environments.
