We’re now looking for our Head of Engineering : someone who can define Luca’s overall technology strategy, but who’s also willing to get hands-on with the team and jump into the code when needed. Make key architecture decisions that balance short-term speed with long-term sustainability.

Lead and mentor the engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and technical excellence.

CI / CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring, security, and code quality.

Manage infrastructure and vendor relationships, always focused on performance and cost efficiency.

Ensure compliance and data protection best practices, safeguarding user trust.

7+ years of software engineering experience, including leading technical teams.

~ Solid background in scalable cloud architectures (GCP / AWS / Azure) and distributed databases.

~ Deep knowledge of TypeScript, Node.js, React / React Native, and GraphQL (our core stack).

~ Strong experience with infrastructure, DevOps, CI / CD, and monitoring systems.

~ Strong product and user experience intuition (not just “what works,” but “what creates value”).

~ We’re building the AI-native education company of the future, combining technology, content, and learning science to transform how kids learn across the region.
