Principal Account Manager Americas @ First Point Group | Driving Telecom, Technology and Renewable Energy Recruitment Success

We’re looking for a Backend Software Engineer to help shape the future of distributed applications and cloud-native solutions. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and love solving complex problems, this is your chance to make an impact.

What You’ll Do

Architect and develop backend services using Java , Spring Boot , Kafka , and RESTful APIs
Design scalable systems that meet business and technical requirements
Build secure, high-performance microservices
Maintain and optimize existing backend infrastructure
Collaborate with QA engineers to ensure robust testing and issue resolution
Document architecture, design decisions, and root cause analyses
Work cross-functionally to deliver integrated solutions

What You Bring

Expert-level Java skills with deep knowledge of Spring Boot, Kafka, and web services

Strong understanding of SQL, NoSQL, and distributed in-memory data stores (e.g., Redis, Apache Ignite)

Solid grasp of networking protocols (Sockets, TCP / IP, UDP, SNMP)

Experience with cloud deployments (Azure or AWS) and containerized applications

Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines, Git, and agile methodologies

Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)

Self-driven, curious, and able to work independently in distributed teams

Bonus Points For

Experience with Kubernetes, Grafana, Solr, OpenSearch

Background in telecom, cable, or PON network management

5+ years of hands-on experience in distributed Linux environments

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
