Objective :
Lead the fraud prevention operation, ensuring a balance between customer experience, operational efficiency, and risk mitigation. This role combines technical knowledge (SQL, Python, programming), experience in payment and retail fraud prevention, and strong team and process management skills.
¿What will you do? :
- Define, implement, and monitor fraud prevention strategies for online transactions.
- Oversee the end-to-end order flow, ensuring efficient response times.
- Manage daily operations using tools such as Signifyd, Accertify, Kount, OpenPay, and acquiring / issuing banks.
- Analyze transactional patterns using Excel, Power Pivot, SQL, and Python (PyCharm), identifying anomalies and proposing improvements.
- Monitor key metrics such as CR, AR, BAR, FP / FN, chargeback rate, and sales impact.
- Design and implement executive and operational reports to provide visibility into risks and results.
- Document policies, processes, and protocols aligned with internal and regulatory standards.
- Lead the evaluation and implementation of new anti-fraud tools.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Fraud Operations, Payments, Data Science, Technology) and external partners (banks, anti-fraud solution providers).
- Ensure operational readiness for high-volume campaigns (Hot Sale, Buen Fin, etc.).
¿Who are we looking for? :
Academic background : Bachelor’s or Engineering degree in Computer Science, Systems, Electronics, or a related field in Information Technology.Experience : 5 to 10 years in eCommerce, fraud prevention, or similar roles in IT.Languages : Advanced English.Technical knowledge :
Deep understanding of fraud prevention, payment methods, and eCommerce risk.Strong analytical skills (SQL, Python, GCP BigQuery).Project and vendor management.Cross-functional coordination.
